1. A well traveled ship of centuries old design. Captained by the wizard Sharktooth, it has been spotted at ports around the world. It is known to fly a banner with a central, black, eight pointed star on a blue field. It is rumored to have been a famous warship that was sunk by a sea monster in the icy waters of the north. Legend has it that Sharktooth called the ship back to service through necromancy, and built his crew from sailors lost at sea. This relic of a lost time is said to be able to freely travel between the land of the living and the land of the dead.

1. A ship in the IronHorse Navy commissioned and fully funded by King Eric of IronHorse. It is a well armed ship, engineered for speed and maneuverability. It was built with the goal of providing quick aid to other ships in naval battles, and transport of important messages, cargo, and people. Under the command of Captain Turin Forther, it has proven a valuable asset to the navy.

Byadid [bye-a-did] -

1. The byadid is an effective and feared water predator. It is a large fish with a long, powerful body and unusually long, toothy jaws. Its coloration consists of dark mud color, with silver and white horizontal stripes. The byadid likes deep parts of rivers, where it has a reputation for random attacks on swimmers and bathers.
2. A byadid is a dish with a pepper and fruit relish over top of a roasted byadid. This dish is traditionally served with the head intact.

1. A small continent and grouping of islands in the sub-arctic North Sea. It is ruled over by a king elected from a knightly order. The land is rocky with patches of vast forests. Snow may fall throughout the year with permafrost in the north, the exception being the tropical island of Holi. There is very little metal to be found there, making leather, stone, wood, and bone their primary building materials. Both the land and surrounding seas are known for an abundance of game and dangerous wildlife. The people are seafaring, and their knights are renowned world-wide for diplomacy.

Centrien Dragon [sent-reen drag-uh n] -

1. A large winged reptile found in the northern mountains or other isolated wilds of Centrien. A very intelligent animal, many of their kind have learned common speech. In their adolescence they are frequently in service to the Knights of Centrien. However, they are considered dangerous in old age, succumbing to madness and senility, making them irritable and violent. They are not true dragons. According to mythology they were created by folk magic during the time of dragons.

Corbi [kor-bee] -

1. A corbi is a large fur-bearing predator that has many breeds and regional variations. Most breeds stand waist to shoulder high on a human with few exceptions falling outside of that range. A corbi's body is long and powerful and is ideal for sustaining speed while running and climbing. Their characteristically hard claws and deadly bite reinforce their physical prowess when bringing down prey. Although the corbi are a feared hazard of the wilderness they can be quite trainable. Many cultures have effectively domesticated corbi for riding, hunting, security, and use in warfare.
